Letter of Intent - Expression of Interest
Date: <date>
Dear Mr. Schmidt-Janssen,
<company> expresses its non-binding interest in BRIGHTCYTE's technology and would welcome updates on its development, evaluation opportunities, and commercial availability.
<About company>
BRIGHTCYTE is relevant to our company because its technology addresses a cybersecurity blind spot that is increasingly important to us: threats originating from compromised hardware and firmware outside the operating system. By detecting command-and-control traffic, data exfiltration and other covert communications from such components, BRIGHTCYTE could complement our existing security measures and provide additional visibility into supply-chain, firmware and hardware-related risks. We believe this could help us strengthen our cyber resilience and better protect sensitive systems, data and business-critical operations.
Once a market-ready product becomes available, we would be interested in discussing its suitability for our requirements and the possibility of evaluating and potentially using it. Any evaluation, deployment, purchase, pricing, or other commercial terms would require further discussions and a separate agreement.
This letter records an expression of interest only. It creates no obligation for either party to purchase, supply, develop, evaluate, enter into an agreement, or proceed with a transaction. It does not create exclusivity or a commitment regarding product capabilities or availability dates.
We would welcome contact regarding the progress and availability described above, using the contact details provided in this letter.
Yours sincerely,
